Ex-Strictly Come Dancing star James Jordan and Coleen Nolan’s son Shane have had a falling out with Coronation Street’s Antony Cotton as the actor crashed out of Dancing On Ice.

Antony was forced to deny claims he is a ‘diva’ after Shane tweeted he had ‘refused to give autographs at a charity do I was at’.

It came after Jordan tuned in to Dancing On Ice on Sunday and commented that Antony ‘doesn’t come across as likeable at all’.

Shane replied: ‘I’ve heard he’s a tit.’

When a follower chimed in that the soap star is ‘a right diva full of his own self importance’, Shane said: ‘Yeah I’ve heard all that as well. Refused to give people an autograph at a charity do I was at.’

James said: ‘I knew it…. I’m always right. Hope you are well mate, say hi to your mum from me.’

Antony shared Shane’s comment on his own timeline, adding: ‘That isn’t true. I have never refused anyone an autograph, let alone at a charity event.’

James wasn’t done there, as the Strictly star replied to a fan who agreed with him, tweeting: ‘It makes me so uncomfortable to hear him talking back, the judges are there for a reason!’

‘Yep! He needs to “Turn up, Keep up and Shut up”‘, James replied.

In a since-deleted tweet, Antony said: ‘Currently doing two jobs at the moment, so please don’t worry about my career.

‘As for wondering what I’m like to work with, maybe take the guess work out and ask @YayItsBrandee?

‘I don’t think you’ll find the answer you’re looking for. Trolls rarely do.’

Brandee replied in defence of the actor, saying: ‘Judging a person does not define who they are. It defines who you are @The_JamesJordan. Antony is loving, caring and kind. He has a beautiful soul and I love that we are good friends now. My journey on @dancingonice has been amazing because of him.’

Tweeting a picture of them hugging, Antony said: ‘My girl, B. Thank you. Loved every minute. We did it for your dad!!!

‘Hope that answers your question James. And hey – best of all, I’m not you. Win, win.’

Antony and Brandee landed in a triple skate-off on Sunday along with Donna Air and her partner Mark Hanretty, and Max Evans and his partner Ale Izquierdo.

Antony and Donna became the latest casualties of the rink as they were sent home.

The show also saw Jake Quickenden pull off the first ‘headbanger’ move of the series.
