Who: Leaders in Energy is hosting the event, with Resilient Virginia. Leaders in Energy is a community of engaged leaders advancing solutions for a sustainable energy system, economy, and world. We are a not-for-profit organization based in Washington with a worldwide membership. Resilient Virginia is dedicated to accelerating resiliency planning in Virginia communities.

What: Energy production and distribution are both changing fast. This event, open to everyone interested in energy, will explore answers to:
• How can a new generation of utilities help decarbonize our energy system?
• What regulatory, policy, and market reforms will help usher in utilities of the future?
• What might the electric grid look like in the future?
• How will customers buy and sell energy with the new electric grid?
• Where can we see examples of this transformation, in action, today?
