Oil, Gas Recruitment Firm Wins Geothermal Drilling Project Contract

Ably Resources, an oil and gas recruitment consultancy based in Glasgow, Scotland, has won a $1.1 million contract for a joint-venture geothermal drilling project in the Netherlands.

Under the terms of the contract, Ably Resources recruited specialist drilling, operations and rig management staff, who will run the project. Ably Resources will continue to manage the crew for the duration of the project.

“The specialist team recruited for this project have very specific expertise and skills. Geothermal energy is a new sector requiring state-of-the-art drilling capabilities. We use our worldwide connections to find and recruit the best talent to save our customers time and money,” Mark Lombardi, managing director of Ably Resources, said in a company statement.

This is the second joint venture project for Ably Resources in the geothermal energy sector. The first project was successfully completed in 2017.
